Google Labs is experimenting with a new gadget, which allows you to quickly and easily create an online store using a Google Docs spreadsheet. There is no complicated coding or technical knowledge neccessary. Even better, you can get your first online store up-and-running in less than five minutes.
The most useful feature of this gadget is its ability to be embedded anywhere. This includes any website that accepts HTML, Google Sites, Bloggers (in a blog post or sidebar), or iGoogle. This will appeal to sellers who operate more than one site.
The three easy steps are:
1. Sign up for a Google Checkout merchant acount
2. List the products you want to sell in a Google spreadsheet
3. Embed your new online store in any website
