Although it seems that there is not so much talk about MySpace in the media these days, they are still doing pretty well with their music path. There is talk from many sources that MySpace is close to signing a new deal with iLike later this week. The deal, if it closes, will be the first since the new CEO, Owen Van Natta, took posistion back in April. It is said that the price will be around $20 Million.
iLike is a service that helps you organize your music, share your music tastes, and discover new music through your friends. It tracks what music you listen to and like and gives you other music recomendations based on that pattern as well as what you friends are listening to. With over 50 Million registered users, this could be huge for Myspace!
