FastStone Capture is a cool little program that makes it easy to take screenshots, draw on them, and share them.
The interface is made up of 8 easy to recognize icons. And it can be customized. In the settings menu you can set shortcuts to utilize the PrtScn key.

I like it because I can automatically save my screenshots to a folder. The other places you can send you screenshot are:

The editor that is included works great for drawing ellipses, arrows, boxes, adding text, highlighting, adding captions, and resizing. Everything works like you would expect it to.
