Twitter releases the ability to now click on Hashtags. This adds an additional layer of usability for people viewing twitter. Now when you see an interesting topic someone is going hashtag crazy on simply click on it now and it will return a series of Real-time results for the hashtag that was clicked on as seen in the image below.

Twitter is continuing to make more advances with their Public API.
Microsoft’s newest search engine Bing is even starting to index twitter results as seen in this article about Bing adding tweets.
With sites like twitter and digg opening more features up with their public API’s we are only going to start to see search engines indexing content closer to real time.
the evolution of Social News as a medium is really starting to grow so who knows who is listening to your random chatter these days about going to the bathroom or sleeping.
At the end of the day I feel bad for the people paying the hosting bill on the Search Engine’s servers that have to connect to the firehose API’s and parse the various results.
