We have seen a great deal of new technologies and fun gadgets coming out surronding the 2009 Inauguration of Presidential Elect Barack Obama. Buzzword Chasers wanted to take a look at some of these mashups and usage of interesting API’s.
washingtonpost.com launched a Mashup allowing people to experience the events of Inaugration Day with Rich Media Content such as photos, video and text from various locations through Timespace. Timespace is an interactive map and timeline letting you view news and multimedia.
An interactive slider lets you control the time period you want to view news from.
this will allow the viewer to really get a sense that they are right in the middle of the Inauguratoin being able to see videos, photos, and blog content during that particular timeslot.
