Buzzworthy, Social Media, Twitter

What do you get when you mix and social media? , a cool new app that lets you discover real-time deals and recommendations from your friends and followers. The whole goal is to allow shoppers to quickly find the best deals in their town (it’s location based).

It has built-in GPS and features to make sure you get the most refined results. All you have to do is quickly scan where the best deals are in town and get instant feedback from the community. There is certainly power of peer-to-peer credibility, and is trying to harness that power. People can discover products they normally would have never found, and small retailers and independent designers can achieve more visibility and reach a larger customer base through these peer-to-peer social recommendations.

You can search by categories: shoes, books, cosmetics, computers, cameras, t-shirts, and DVDs.

Its beta version launched this week, and there will be much more to come, including an iPhone app and open API so other developers can come on board.
